Oxford Planters are designers and manufacturers of wooden planters, tables, chairs, benches, garden gates and pergolas.  The wooden products are all individually handmade to order in the Company’s Oxfordshire workshop and are available in Oak, Iroko and Accoya the exciting new ‘hardwood’.

All the woods used are from ecologically sound resources and fall under FSC, PEFC or Verified Progress certification and all our waste is composted.

The range includes a variety of traditional and contemporary styles, while a bespoke design and build service ensures that Oxford Planters can meet the needs of almost any situation. Clients include Private individuals, garden designers, interior designers and architects.

Oxford Planters at Cottesbrook Hall

The Oxford Planters Joinery is delighted to have been selected to exhibit at the 2010 Cottesbrook Hall Plant Finder Fair in Northamptonshire from June 25th – 27th.  Now in its third year the plant finders fair is becoming a ‘must visit’ venue for plants man and those wishing to source high quality and top end garden products.  Further show highlights include celebrity speakers, Alys Fowler, James Alexander-Sinclair and Dan Pearson. OXFORD PLANTERS GOES GREEN!

Due to demand Oxford Planters is to start production of a range of garden products made in green oak. The collection will include, benches, tables and can be produced in a variety of sizes and designs. Green oak is timber that has been recently felled and has a high moisture content and as it dries will crack, warp, spit and twist producing a product of individual character and strength. 

THE COALITION PLANTER

In these extraordinary times, Oxford Planters are launching a special planter that combines the classic contemporary profile of the best selling Keble, using simplified construction techniques whilst not compromising the integrity of the brand. Constructed in Iroko, L500 W500 H450. The planks are 125mm wide with 70mm posts. Two inch stainless steel screws are countersunk and attach each side plank to the corner post. Price £150.00.



A WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY

As part of Oxford Planter’s expansion and diversification we are pleased to announce, the launch of our sister company, Oxford Woodworks, using our skilled craftsmen to produce a variety of hand crafted and bespoke and often technically challenging commissions. We manufacture in Accoya, Iroko and Oak, our recent commissions have included windows, doors, conservatories, roof lanterns, gates, garage doors and as specially commissioned personal fort.

AND FINALLY....

Disappointed on missing out on a recent trip to Go Ape in the Lake District with his young boys, Martin decided to demonstrate his tree climbing skills.............. Martin would like to thank the Cumbrian Air Ambulance service, Paramedics and the staff of the Royal Cumberland Infirmary for all their help and support. Martin hopes to resume his professional role at the Chelsea Flower Show, albeit on crutches.
